AMBO AND SURROUNDING RELIEF ASSOCIATION (ASRA) is excited to announce the launch of our  website! After months in the works, We are so happy to officially share it with all of you. 

Our main goal in launching this new website is to provide our clients, staff and others with a more intuitive and user-friendly experience that clearly states who we are, what we stand for, and what we can achieve for our clients. The website features a refreshed look, improved navigation and a handful of features which will make the overall experience more impactful on desktop, mobile and tablet.

AMBO AND SURROUNDING RELIEF ASSOCIATION (ASRA) is a nonprofit organization established by visionary University lecturers in order to solve the multidimensional problems of the community. It was founded in January 2021 in Ambo town, West Shewa Zone, Oromia Regional State, Ethiopia with the objective of address children and women socio-economic issues and enhancing their position and roles in the community. Besides, the organisation aims to contribute towards poverty reduction and sustainable community-based development.

ASRA also endeavours to mold marginalized and destitute children and women into responsible citizen with high standard of human virtues and productivity. Instead of becoming the part of the marginalized section of the society, the ASRA will let them explore the opportunities and be aware of their potentials and capabilities in order to become economically vibrant section of the community and participate in the national building. The organization is unique in a way that it nestles the potentials of the poor women and street children through addressing their key financial problems by imparting basic access to financial services to help break the cycle of poverty.
